She attended Transylvania University. She had a love for working with her hands doing things such as sewing, quilting, and gardening. Joeline lived a quiet life.
She is survived by a daughter, Alicia Gaye (Rusty) Bouseman of Ithaca, New York; a granddaughter, Trinity Victoria Howell; and her siblings, Eulene Allen (Ron) Chitwood of Sebring, Florida, Carl Ermal (Eva) Allen of Creston, Ohio, and Marcella Allen Brooks of Greeneville, Tennessee.
