Melvin Franklin Roher, 77, of Three Springs R.D., died at 3:50 a.m. Thursday Jan. 7, 1988, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg PA.

Born March 12, 1910, in Springfield Township, he was the son of Joshua B. and Olive (Lane) Roher. He was united in Marriage to Edwinna Hoffman on Dec. 18, 1937, at Washington Borough. His wife survives at Three Springs R.D.

Two sons and one daughter survive---Tex Roher of Three Springs, Billy Roher of Star Route Orbisonia, and Mrs. John (Wanda) Horton of Robertsdale, R.D. There are six grandchildren. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Fred Roher and Clema Nead, both of Huntingdon and Martha Hamilton of Mount Union. One brother preceded in death.

Mr. Roher was of the Protestant faith. He was a retired coal miner and a farmer.
