Cecil Douglas Jackson "CJ," 61, passed away on Monday March 17, 2008 in Mesa Arizona. He was born in Fostoria on July 11, 1946 to Joseph A and Luella (Talmadge) Jackson. He was married to Rosetta Coker, divorced; and Patricia Rash, divorced. His surviving wife is M. Cathy (Miller) Jackson. CJ is survived by two sons, Michael Che Walters, Bowling Green, Ohio; Douglas J. Jackson, Mesa Arizona; Amanda (Jason) Collins, Gold Canyon, Arizona; and Audra Jackson, at home. CJ is also survived by two grandchildren, Taylor Jackson, and Murral June Walters "MJ." He is survived by his brother Grant (Millie) Jackson, Pittsburgh PA. His surviving sisters are Joni A Pinskey, Fostoria, Ohio; Charlotte E Gilbert, Sui Sun City, California; and Linda (John) Anderson, Fostoria, Ohio. He is also survived by his favorite Uncle Charles "DiDi" (Betty) Jackson, Tiffin, Ohio and his favorite Aunt Ruby (Talmadge) Wiley, Detroit, Michigan. He also leaves a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins from across the United States. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Carlos Jackson, Bernard Jackson, Charles "Chuckie" Jackson, and his sister Vera Miles. CJ worked at the Ford Plant and Bills Men's and Boy's Wear in Fostoria until he proudly served in the Vietnam War as a Marine. After his service, he relocated to Phoenix Arizona in the late 70's where he worked at Leon's Furniture eventually joining Levitz Furniture, where he was an award winning sales person for 10 years. He retired from Levitz in 2005.

CJ graduated from Fostoria High School in 1964 where he was a star athlete. He loved sports his entire life. He excelled in football, basketball, baseball, and track. On January 20, 2008, he was inducted into the Fostoria High School Hall of Fame. CJ loved life and he loved to help others along his life journey.
