Anna Lee Sparks, 93, of Russellville Road, died on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at her home.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Sparks (2010); her father, Rollen Trout; her mother, Zora O'Dell Trout; son, Roy "Koochie" Sparks; daughter, JoAnna "Jody" Gay; sister, Norma O'Dell; brother, Vernon "Bunk" Trout; and a great-grandchild, Derek Beavers.

She is survived by sons, Farren Sparks, Clyde (Joyce) Sparks; daughter, Kathy (Jim) Surbaugh; daughter-in-law, Sharon Sparks; sisters, Edith Groves, Shelva O'Dell; 3 grandchildren; and great-grandchildren

Anna was a godly woman of few words with a heart of gold, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to work, was an immaculate homemaker, enjoyed gardening and cleaning the house. A devoted Christian, she attended Advent Christian Church on Russellville Road, all that knew her, loved her.

Services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Wallace & Wallace Funeral Chapel in Rainelle with Pastor Roy Boyd officiating. Burial will follow at Justice Cemetery on Russellville Road. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
