James Lemmon, one of the older residents of Washington township, passed away at his home Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the results of a fall sustained October 13 at his home. Since that time he had been in failing health and the end came Sunday. He was raised and spent his entire life on the farm where he died. A member of the Lutheran church of Limestone, he was a consistent worshiper there and a good citizen. He is survived by two sons, Charles and James, both of LImestone and two daughters, Gertrude and Edith, both at home. Funeral services will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock with the Rev. W. J. Dean and the Rev. Walter Kennedy officiating. Interment will be in the Coye (sic Croyle) Cemetery.

James A. Lemmon, aged 82 years, 5 months and 4 days, of Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, died Washington Township, at 1 p.m. on Sunday November 2, 1930. A farmer, Mr. Lemmon was born May the 28th 1848 in Pennsylvania the son of Daniel Lemmon and Elizabeth Croyle, both born in Pennsylvania. A widower, he was preceded in death by his wife Laura M. Lemmon. Funeral services were in the care of undertaker Clarence R. Snyder of Cowansville. Burial was made on Tuesday November 4, 1930 in Croyle Cemetery. Information was provided by J. W. Lemmon of Limestone, Pennsylvania.
