LISBON — Mrs. Nellie M. Spencer, 87, of 39041 Harvey Ave., passed away at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, where she had been a patient one day.

Mrs. Spencer was born Jan. 1, 1921, in Salineville, a daughter of the late Edwin and Jesse Boals Foster, and had resided in the Lisbon area for most of her life.

She was a member of Lisbon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Her husband, Jesse Spencer, whom she married July 18, 1940, preceded her in death Dec. 2, 1985.

Mrs. Spencer is survived by two daughters, Patricia Shreve and Deborah Douglass, both of Lisbon; eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, Dale Foster, Lisbon, and Louis Foster, Cleveland.

The memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Lisbon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Phillip Smith speaking. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Salem.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m Saturday and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home .
