Emily B. Spears, 88, of Crawfordville, passed away, May 16, 2023. She was a native of this area, where she graduated from Leon High School and retired after 35 years of employment with General Motors Acceptance Corporation. She was an avid reader, loved crossword puzzles and enjoyed working in her garden. She was very smart, and her confidence was seen in her daily life.
Mrs. Spears is survived by her children Sherry Spears & Steven Spears, 4 grandchildren Elizabeth Spears, Amanda Green, Ariel Spears & John W. Spears IV and great granddaughter Maggie Gary.
Predeceased by her husband J.W. Spears and son John Spears.
Funeral Service will be Friday, May 26, 2023, 10:00 am at New Light Church Cemetery.
