Diane M. Hendrix (nee Manning), age 48, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008. She was a DeMotte resident for the past 10 years and was formerly of Lake Station. She worked at Chicagoland Christian Village as a nurse's aid. Diane loved her family and her grandchildren. Diane was a very loving and caring person and made a difference in many people's lives.
She is survived by her loving family, husband, Frank Hendrix of DeMotte, IN; 2 daughters, Tina (Jason) Benkovich of DeMotte, IN, Amy (Paul) Zorka of DeMotte, IN; mother, Geri Manning of Lake Station, IN; 3 brothers, Dale Manning of Lake Station, IN, Richard Manning of Front Royal, VA, Jeffrey Manning of Cedar Lake, IN; 2 sisters, Deborah (Ernest) Wines of Front Royal, VA; Tracey (Bryan) Fellhauer of Elgin, IL; grandchildren, Tamberlain, Destini, Caleb, Madisyn, Jacelyn, and Jarrod; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Bonnie Hendrix of Hanover, IN; 1 brother-in-law, Timothy (Lisa) Hendrix of Hanover, IN; 2 sisters-in-law, Donna Hendrix of Hanover, IN, Leah (Doug) Hendrix of Hobart, IN; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, James Manning, and 1 infant daughter, Kimberly Ann Hendrix.
Funeral services are Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visitation is Friday, March 21, 2008 from 2 to 9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel
