Later, he attended the University of Perugia in Italy and spent some time in France. His acting career began in the mid-1960s with appearances in commercials in both Italy and France. In 1967, he made his film debut in "The Witches." He would go on to appear in such films as "The Damned," (1969) "Ludwig," (1973) "The Romantic Englishwoman," (1975), and "The Godfather Part III" (1990). In 1976, he made his television debut on the made-for-television movie "Victory at Entebbe." His later television credits would include such titles as "Return of the Saint," "Dynasty," "Veliki Transport," "Helena," and "Van Loc: un grand flic de Marseille." He retired from acting in 2019 due to a series of health problems.
