Truman Glenn Adams, 75, formerly of 535 W. Broadway, died at 1:05pm Sunday in the Melrose Manor Nursing Home, Mishawaka. He had been in failing health for the last several years. Mr. Adams had been a resident of Mishawaka for 60 years, coming to this city from Jackson, Mich., where he was born on July 23, 1896. He married Maude Ellen Gerard in St. Joseph, MI, and she died in 1962. The deceased retired from the Bendix Corp., South Bend, in 1962 after 25 years of emmployment as a sign painter. Surviving were two sons, Carl W. Adams of Mishawaka, and Dale G. Adams of St. Joseph; three daughters, Mrs. Merle (Margaret) Griffy of Fair Oaks, CA, Mrs. Timothy (Florence) Sullivan of Morgan Hill, CA, and Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Putz of Mishawaka. Services were held in the Bubb funeral chapel by the Rev. David A. Masterson, pastor of the Immanuel Baptist Church.
