Martha was the former manager for BC Battery in Louisville and a travel agent for Travel II in Bardstown until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family, time at the beach, and especially time with the greats.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby,Bill, Frank and Dave Boblitt.
Martha is survived by her husband of 61 years, Charles Jack Ballard, her son Neal (Corey) Ballard of Cox's Creek, daughter, Gail (David "Cricket") Hall of Bardstown, her grandchildren, Jackie Anne (Steven) Crigler, Jacob (Katie) Hall, Megan (Chris) Bolen, Dr. April Ballard, her great grandchildren, Michael, Rayna, and Charlie Crigler, Nora and Benjamin Hall, Devin Wilkerson and Ryan Ballard, Kendal, Kylie, and Keith Bolen. She is also survived by her sisters, Pat Clark of Bardstown, Linda (Ed) Edelen of Bardstown, and her brother, Carl Boblitt of Las Vegas, Nevada.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00am, Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Basilica of St. Joseph Proto-Cathedral with Rev. Terry Bradshaw celebrant. Interment will be in Bardstown Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00-8:00pm with 5:30pm prayers and Saturday 8:30-9:30am.
