Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Adams, aged 68, died at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frances Burgin, 743 Maple St., Niles, Mich., where she had been for two weeks. Before going to Niles, Mrs. Adams resided in Mishawaka for 24 years. She was born in Livingston County, NY Jan. 29, 1869. Surviving were the daughter, Mrs.Burgin of Niles; a son, Claude E. Cheney, Lakeland, FLa; three sisters, Mrs. Sarah Carr, Ann Arbor, MI, and Mrs. Jessie Datinger and Mrs. Fanny Renned, Decatur, MI, and three brothers, Fred Osborn of Ann Arbor; Arthur Osborn of Decatur and Chester Osborn of South Bend. Rev. Mr. Nathstein of the Nazarene church conducted funeral services. Husband: Truman Quincy Adams.
