On October 30, 2017, a hard-working, kind, generous, brave, and funny man passed away from metastatic cancer of the pancreas. John Raymond Shaw was born June 12, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Raymond Harrison and Ruth McConnel Shaw.
John married Janice Durr in 1979 (later divorced) and together they had three children: Ian Nathaniel, Austin (Anne), and Dereck Shaw. John married Lani Lee on November 5, 2005.
John was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his wife, children, sisters Ann (Jerry) Fullmer and Mary Beth (Gregg) Sheppard, and numerous nieces and nephews.
