Leana Munzer, 6, was a victim of the Holocaust. She was a little Jewish girl from the Netherlands who was killed along with her older sister.
Her baby brother and mother survived. Her father who originally survived the war, died two months after liberation.

Leana was the second daughter of Polish cousins Simcha (Siegfied) and Gitel (Gisele) Munzer. She had two siblings: Eva (1936-1944) and Alfred (23 nov 1941-sl).
In 1942, Simcha was forced to report to a German labour camp. Gitel, who was clever enough to realize how dangerous the situation had come too, sold the family's belongings and placed her two daughters with a Catholic friend's family. Her son was placed with another family.

Gitel then left her home and stayed with her husband at a local hostpital, as a nurse. Two months alter it was raided and Simcha and Gitel were sent to German Labour camps.

Sommetime later, a fight broke out between the Catholic couple Leana and Eva were staying with. The husband then denounced his wife and the girls to German officers.

Leana and Eva were arrested and sent to Auschwitz, where they were gassed to death two days after their arrival.
