Delores Helen Cobler Allendorf, 69, Topeka, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 1999, at her home.
She was born March 8, 1930, in Topeka, the daughter of Jacob George and Catherine Desch Allendorf.
Ms. Allendorf was a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
She married Clyde Cobler in 1949 in Topeka. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Mrs. Allendorf also was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Roosevelt, July 11, 1963.
Survivors include three sons, J.R. Cobler, Dave Cobler and Doug Cobler, all of Topeka; four daughters, Jeannette Brees, Melanie Teske, Wendy Cobler-Chambers and Deidre Hart, all of Topeka; a brother, Lavern Allendorf, Topeka; two sisters, Lucille Hill, Topeka, and Darlene Chrysler, Los Angeles; 14 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Ms. Allendorf will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at the Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Delores Allendorf Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.
