OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR: EMMA LOU LABUFF TROUT
Emma Lou LaBuff Trout, 82, of Dayton, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at the Methodist Hospital in Houston. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Emma Lou was born May 6, 1922 in Daisetta to parents Frank and Lena Dunn LaBuff and has resided in the Dayton area throughout her lifetime. She was a homemaker, caregiver, rancher, member of the Trinity Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading, gardening, and sewing.
Mrs. Trout was preceded in death by her parents, father of her children, Theron Robinson; grandson, Kacy Neuman; sisters: Lou Anna Noack, Katy Buckner, and Elsie Lou Sims; and brothers, Jeff LaBuff, Martin LaBuff, and Daniel LaBuff. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, C. B. "Bud" Trout, Jr., of Dayton; son, Roland Robinson and wife Norma of Dayton; daughter, Judy Neuman and husband Mutt of Dayton; stepson, C. B. Trout III of Pasadena; stepdaughters, Barbara Binning of Deer Park, Sherrell Brantley of Pasadena, and Carmalia Trout of Pasadena; foster sons, Matt Dino of Houston and Curtis Noack of Kenefick; brother and sister-in-law, L. V. & Peggy LaBuff of Dayton; sisters and brother-in-law, Nona & Bambi Rios of Baytown and Madeline Durdin of Dayton; sisters-in-law, Willeen LaBuff of Dayton and Arlene LaBuff of Houston; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In lieu of floral remembrances, the family requests that donations be made to the Trinity Baptist Church at 408 W. Clayton, Dayton, Texas 77535 in Emma Lou's name.
