Mrs. Mary Virginia (Ickes) Mock, 70, widow of James Mock, died Friday morning at 1 o'clock in the Timmins Hospital after an extended illness.
A daughter of Richard W. and Julia (Harbaugh) Ickes, she was born near Pleasantville on October 18, 1872. Her husband died in 1937.
Surviving are eight children --
Clella, wife of Irvin Claycomb, Osterburg R. D.:
Mrs. Bernice Brown of Osterburg;
Margaret, wife of Clarence McDonald, Imler;
Georgia, wife of Fred Robinson, Youngstown, O.;
Richard, Millvale, Pa.;
Kenneth, Duquesne;
Cyrus, Middletown, Wis., and
Harry a member of the Army located in California.
Mrs. Mock was a sister of Mrs. Maggie Allison, Alum Bank R. D. and Mrs. Elizabeth Horner, Johnstown. She was a member of the Weyant Methodist church. Funeral services were conducted in the Weyant Methodist Church by Rev. C. C. Levergood
