Pleasantville. Pa., Dec. 16, - Gabriel B. Alison, aged 75, a well-known retired farmer, died Sunday morning at his home here after an illness of several months of a complication of diseases.
Mr. Allison was a son of Jacob and Rebecca (Slonaker) Allison, and was born in Bedford county. He operated a farm near Pleasantville, until five years ago, when he retired.
He was twice married, his first wife, Mrs. Sarah (Harbaugh) Allison, died in 1918. His second wife, Mrs. Anna (Walker) Smith-Allison, died last year.
Surviving are these children: Harry Allison of Alum Bank, Edward Allison of Columbia, O.; Mrs. Effie Walters of Jennerstown: Harrison Allison of Flintstone, Md.; and Quay Allison of Harrisonburg, all born to the first union.
Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon in the Pleasantville Evangelical Church. Rev. Martin L. Kaufman officiated. Interment was in Spruce Hollow Cemetery.
