Mable Joy Jacques was born on May 30, 1931 in Mangum, Oklahoma where she lived until meeting the love of her life James A. Jacques. They were married on April 4, 1952 and later brought 3 beautiful children into this world. Mrs. Mable Joy Jacques made her life as an Air Force wife for 20+ years until 1968 when Msgt. James A Jacques retired and they found a beautiful home in Luella,Tx. Mrs. Mable Joy Jacques lived in Luella for many years until moving in with her grandson and granddaughter Billy and Sandra Shockley where she lived until shortly before her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Velma Adams, husband Msgt. James A. Jacques, her son Kenneth W. Jacques, her brothers Carl Adams, Clarence Adams, Jerry Adams, Lonnie Adams and Butch Adams.
She is survived by her son Frank Jacques, daughter Donna and husband Randy Holtum, grandchildren Joy and Roger Ivey, Sheryl and Geoff Clark, Brian Holtum, Crystal Jacques, Tiffany Jacques, Jason Miller and Billy and Sandra Shockley and many other great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and longtime best friend Denise Cunningham of 35yrs.
Funeral services honoring Mrs. Mable Joy Jacques will be held at American Funeral Services located at 4312 W. Crawford St. Denison, Tx. Family night will be Thursday May 11th from 5p to 7p and graveside service will be held at West Hill Cemetery in Sherman,Tx on Friday May 12th at 2p.
