Frank George “Mammy” Frick Sr., 94, died Friday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a retired grocer with the old Frick’s Handy Store and a member of the Music Makers band. He was a founding member of St. Rita Catholic Church. Survivors: a daughter, Charlotte Roberts; sons Charles B. Frick, James A. Frick and Frank G. Frick Jr.; a sister, Laura Richardson; a brother, Jack Frick; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway. Burial: Hebron. Visitation at Arch L. Heady Okolona, 8519 Preston Highway, after 6 p.m. on Monday. Memorial gifts: WHAS Crusade for Children or his church’s building fund.
