Freddie MacArthur Loy, 81, of Columbia, KY passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born on May 9, 1942, in Adair County to the late Hansel and Rosa Gladys Hill Loy.

Freddie was a member of the Amazing Grace Church and enjoyed shooting pool, playing cards and spending time with family and friends, especially his brother Raymond.

Survivors include four children Jimmy Loy of Michigan, Lisa Neat (Rick) of Glensfork, KY, Darlene Jessie (Wayne) of Edmonton, KY, and Sheila Hunt (Russell) of Columbia, KY; five grandchildren Rikki Michelle Neat Pooler (Jacob), Joshua Loy, Nathan Loy, Autumn Loy, and Isabelle Jessie; two great grandchildren Kristan Hammons and Ivar Blanton; his brother Raymond Loy and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00-8:00pm and will continue Tuesday until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

Bro. Ronnie Janes will be officiating, and pallbearers will be Jason Collins, Jerry Streeval, Derrick Murphy, James "Bo" Murphy, Danny Sneed, and Andrew Murphy.
