Funeral for Doris J. Short, 65, of Moulton will be Friday at 4 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home with the Rev. Jackie Camp officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Short died Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2002, at her home. She was born March 19, 1937, in Union City, Tenn., to Clyde Collins and Velma Sutherland Collins. She was a member of Oak Grove First Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Short; one son, James Dooley of Trinity; one daughter, Annette Owens of Moulton; two brothers, Bill Pope and Michael Pope, both of Martin, Tenn.; two sisters, Mae Buckelew of Sharon, Tenn. and Bonnie Walters of Martin; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Tim Short, Tim Conrad, Eddie Owens, Jeff Standridge, Bill McCleskey and Bobby Short.
