We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2023, at the age of 97, Mary Frances Copenhaver Hayes of Long Bottom, Ohio passed away.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Fred Cecil Copenhaver and Letha Mary Paxton Copenhaver; her husband James Marshall Hayes; her children, James Hayes, Johnnie Hayes and Linda Imboden; and her siblings, Fred Copenhaver, James Copenhaver, Raymond Copenhaver, Jack Copenhaver and Jennie Sergent.
She is survived by : her children, Sue, Ken Caldwell, William and Stephanie Hayes; her grandchildren, Barbara Fronk, James Hayes Jr., Larry Hayes, Tony Shamblin, Greg Shamblin, Kenny Caldwell, Michelle Caldwell and Matthew Caldwell; and her sisters, Betty Wright, Jane Van Dyke, Sue Hill and Ruth Vallancourt. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 17th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White-Schwarzel Funeral Home (2817 5th St, Coolville, OH 45723). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 17th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Ortin Heights Cemetery.
