"Samuel Leander Abel, a resident of Pueblo for the past 20 years died very suddenly at his home, 325 Quincy Street last night. He had been in his usual good health and had eaten a hearty dinner at noon and shortly afterward he complained of feeling bad but his symptoms were not of a serious nature. In the evening he was taken seriously ill and expired in a few moments. Mr. Abel was a man of sterling qualities and was well and favorably known in the city. He was a member of the A.O.U.W. of Parsons, KS, and of St. Patrick church.
