Amanda Sue Truett, age 25 of Germantown passed away Monday March 17, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. Amanda was a member of the Farmersville First Baptist Church, a graduate of West Carrollton High School class of 2001 and was employed at Scott Industrial. She is survived by her husband Michael Truett, son Logan Walker, daughter Taylor Truett, her parents Diana Hicks and Frank Penick, father Terry Hicks, mother-in-law Diana Truett, father-in-law Michael Truett Sr., sister Brandy Hicks and her children Brooklyn, Caleb, and Jonathan, grandparents Ray and Margie Middlesworth (Papaw and Nana), aunts and uncles Donna and Chuck Rowland, Dan and Linda Middlesworth, a large loving family on her husbands side, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday March 22, 2008 at Farmersville First Baptist Church , with burial in Germantown Cemetery. Pastor Tom Vorhis officiating. The Family will receive friends Friday March 21, 2008 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Arpp & Root Funeral Home Germantown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Dayton or Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
