Margie S. Chapman, 82, a loving Christian woman, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 17, 2008.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Friday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
Margie was born Jan. 16, 1926, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Anna and Roscoe Shirley. She worked in the grocery industry as a bookkeeper. Margie was a longtime member of Abundant Life Family Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, two sisters and two nephews.
Survivors: Husband of 52 years, Tom Chapman; daughters, Shirley Rush and husband, Tony, Eulala Echols and husband, Bobby; grandson, David Rush; nieces, Karol MacDougal and husband, Bruce, Connie Merrick and husband, Doug, Zerita Gillis and husband, Arnold, Claudia Shirley; nephew, Tom Breeden and wife, Joni; and her loving dogs, Beau and Angel.
