Of Cambridge, on Sunday, February 22, 2004, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in her 63rd year, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Kathleen Bowman, beloved wife of Paul Haller. Dear mother of Stephen and his wife Tina of Bolton, Christine Haller and Michelle of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by three grand-children, Matthew, Kaitlyn and Benjamin. Also survived by brothers, Bob Bowman of Waterloo, Gill Bowman of Kitchener, Ron Bowman of Waterloo, Vince Bowman of Baden and Alan Bowman of Edmonton, Alberta and sisters, Marg Reinhart and Rosemary Morgan, both of Kitchener, Audrey Myers of Orlando, Florida, and Paula Fogelklou of Victoria, B.C. Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Rose Bowman and three brothers, Jerry and Roy and Paul in infancy. Kathy was born in Kitchener and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of St. Clement's RC Church, the CWL, Past President of Best Friends of The Big Sisters, St. Mary's Hospital Festival of Trees, St. Mary's Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary and was a retired Medical Secretary and an avid gardener. The family will receive friends at the Barthel Funeral Home, 566 Queenston Road, Cambridge, on Wednesday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clement's RC Church, 745 Duke Street, Cambridge on Thursday, February 26, 2004, at 10 a.m. Interment in Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
