A.L. "Larry" Snyder, 68, of 2415 NW 11, Oklahoma City, died Monday of last week at the Veterans Administration Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at guardian Midtown Funeral Home with burial in Wilburton.

Snyder was born in Garber and moved to Oklahoma City in 1916. He retired from Shell Oil Co., where he was employed for 26 years. At the time of his death, he was employed at the State capitol, where he worked for eight years.

He was a past commander of an American Legion post, a Mason, a member of the McAlester Consistory and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the Penn Avenue United Methodist Church.

Survivors includehis wife, Nell, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Countiss, Wilburton, two daughters, two sons and two sisters.
