ROLLA J. GOLD
Dairyman Rolla J. Gold, 55, of Oakdale died in a local hospital yesterday following a lengthy illness. Born in Missouri, he had been a resident of Oakdale since 1937. Survivors include his widow, Helen Gold of Oakdale ; a son, Orville G. Gold of Turlock; four daughters, Elizabeth Lowe of Ione; Lena Richardson of River Bank; Geneva McGuire of Oakdale and Evelyn Osteen of Ceres; two brothers; Howard Gold of Missouri and Floyd Gold of Waterford; five sisters Madie Merritt, Bertha Dunn and Laura Benson, all of Missouri, Ruth Markwick of El Cajon, and Sara Cooper of Waterford; and 10 grandchildren. Sevices are pending at the Franklin & Downs Funeral Home.
