• RINGLING -- Services for Jerry Lynn Allen, 58, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at the Community Fellowship Church with Bro. Ronnie Carroll officiating. Interment will be at Ringling Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Spivey's Reser Funeral Home.
Mr. Allen was born Dec. 25, 1943, in Oklahoma City to L.D. and Cloma Thornburg Allen. He died Feb. 12, 2001, at his home in Ringling.
Jerry was a kind and gentle man. God blessed him with a wonderful wit. All who really knew him can remember something Jerry said that would put a smile on their face.
He is survived by a brother, Berlen, and his wife, Avyrl, Allen of Oklahoma City; a sister, Helen, and her husband, Gary, Hammons of Ringling; two nephews, Marty Allen and Dustin Hammons; two nieces, Tammy Rae and Jamie Trevino; three great-nephews; six great-nieces; many; aunts; uncles; and cousins.
Bearers will be Rick Davis, Virgil Davis, Windell Davis, Willard Davis, Bill Austin and Doie Allen.
