Bryan Dean Key Sr., 50, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at his home in Kincaid, Kansas.
He was born Dec. 28, 1957, in Fredonia, Kansas, the son of Ralph and Aline (Scannel) Key.
He was a graduate of Fredonia High School and received a bachelor of science degree from Liberty University, a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Kaplan University and was three months shy of earning a master's degree.
On Nov. 5, 1993, he was married to Jeanette Reynolds in Olathe, Kansas. She survives at the home.
He was an machinist at Machine Laboratory, Inc. He had been an adjunct instructor at National University.
He is also survived by a daughter, Deanna Key, Kincaid, KS; a son, Bryan Jr., Hamilton, KS; sisters, Burma Borroughs, Kansas City, KS, Bonnie Baron and Bernadine Pound, Fredonia, KS, Betty Caylor, Parsons, KS, Betsy Thornton, Webb City, MO, Becky Kingsbury, Casterville, TX, and Bernetta Johnson, Nixa, MO.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Ben, Billy, Barry, and Bob; and a sister, Brenda.
Funeral services will be at Timmons Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas. The Rev. Lloyd Houk will officiate. Burial will be in Fredonia City Cemetery.
Memorials suggested to the Kansas City Cancer Center.
