Mrs. Dodie Schellinger, 76 of Otis, Louisiana entered eternal life after a short illness at her son's home in Joplin, MO on January 13, 2014.
Funeral service honoring her life will be at 10:00 AM Friday 1-17-14 in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home Ball with Donna Malone officiating, burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery Gardner, LA.
Friends may visit on Thursday 1-16-2014 from 5 - 10 PM at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Schellinger, a longtime resident of Otis was a home maker and loved to garden, cook and care for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Pitts (Bo Griffin), Diane Drennin (Lonnie), Jeff Schellinger; 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George H. Schellinger, siblings, Mayo Burnett, Melbie Burnett, Chuck Burnett, Vera Lawrence, Kitty Malone; son, Danny Ray Schellinger.
