Ashley Renee Dillon, age 16, was called home unexpectedly March 12, 2008. She was born on December 29, 1991, at the Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado and spent some time living in Columbia, South Carolina before moving to Columbus, Ohio. Ashley was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church, a volunteer at Villa Angela Care Center, and a straight "A" student at Northland High School, where she was enrolled in Advance Placement courses and repeatedly made Super Honor Roll. In addition, she played volleyball, ran track, and was a clarinet player in the Marching and Concert bands. Ashley was an OSU Young Scholar, an Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholar, and the recipient of the PTSA Award of Excellence and The Links Inc. Academic Award. She loved to travel and visited many places throughout the continental United States and traveled abroad to South Korea. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents Savannah Dillon and Isaac Dillon Sr., paternal great-grandmother Ethel Fowlkes, maternal great-grandparents Ruth Expose and Juetta Murphy, aunt Angela Dillon and uncle Michel Dillon. She leaves to celebrate her memory, parents, Gina (Murphy) Dillon and David Dillon Sr.; brother, David Dillon Jr.; sister, Joy Dillon; maternal grandparents, Jacqueline Murphy and James Murphy Sr.; niece, Nia Dillon; aunts, Latricia Murphy-Young, Sarah Murphy, Marlene Dillon-Young; uncles, Robert Murphy, James Murphy Jr., Keith Dillon, Robert (Erica) Dillon, Maurice (Kim) Dillon, Isaac Dillon III; cousins, Tarae Murphy, Maria Murphy, Simone Young, Erica Dillon, Ariel Dillon, Michelle Dillon, Leo Young, Mytnyri Lee; a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life 12Noon Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the start of service. Pastor Victor M.
