Another old pioneer has passed away. James McKain died at his residence 2 1/2 miles south west of this village, Friday night, after a brief illness. He is the last of the old stock of McKains, and had reached the age of 68 years. The funeral services were held at the residence on Tuesday at ten o'clock. Interment in the McKain cemetery.
