Following a lingering illness of eleven months, Mrs. Florence Bowers Fickle, wife of "Pete" Fickle, died at 8:10 o'clock yesterday morning at her home seven miles west of Frankfort.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence, with Rev. McClain of the Fickle Methodist Protestant church officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery.

She was the daughter of William and Jane Bowers and was born near Bower's Station, in Montgomery County, October 29, 1898, and spent her girlhood in that community. She was united in marriage to Pete Fickle, October 2, 1920.

Besides her husband, she is survived by four children, Betty, Billy, J.B. and Joan; her mother, Mrs. William Bowers, who was with her at the time of her death, and one brother, Babe Bowers of Montgomery County.

She was preceded in death by her father, one sister, and one brother.
