Reba was born May 1, 1941 in the New Georgia Community of Paulding County, the youngest child of Emmett Gordon and Beth Roberts Hicks.
She worked in The Lunchroom at Villa Rica Elementary School for several years and later at the Old Villa Rica Hospital as a Respiratory Therapy Tech then a Physical Therapy Tech. Reba enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She had a special bond with her 7 sisters, known locally as The Hicks Sisters for their loving and sweet spirit. Reba was a Christian and will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Mark Osborne of Temple; son, Chris Agan, Villa Rica; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, James Edward "Ed" Agan on January 6, 2011; brother, Guy Hicks; sisters, Sallie Fay Hicks Huff, Illa Mae Hicks Gunnell, Lillie Bee Hicks Ingram, Minnie Lee Hicks Brown and Willie Tee Hicks Busbin.
The family will receive friends at J. Collins Funeral Home on Tuesday. May 9th , 2023 from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 at 1 P.M. from the Chapel of J. Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Chad Williams officiating.
Interment will follow the service in Hillcrest Cemetery, Villa Rica.
