Funeral services for Pearl A. Spears McKinney, 95, of Muldrow, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Agent Chapel in Muldrow with Rev. Carl Fugett officiating.Burial was in Blackjack Cemetery, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Muldrow.Mrs. McKinney was born Nov. 11, 1911, in Muldrow, to Erbert Spears and Ida (Boggs) Spears. She died Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007, in Fort Smith, Ark. Mrs. McKinney was a co-owner and operator of McKinney's Trading Post in Muldrow and was of the Nazarene faith. She married William Thomas McKinney, July 11, 1930, in Gotebo. He preceded her in death, Dec. 4, 1995, in Muldrow. Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Peggy McKinney of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, James Darrell McKinney, Sherry Treat, Rob McKinney and LeAnn Patterson; six great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bonnie of Washington.She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Colleen Quinette, one son, Darrell McKinney and one grandson, Frankie Treat. Pallbearers were her family.
