Jack was my oldest brother and the son of Jack Rufus Clark and Eva Dell Johnson.

Jack Mickey Clark, 70, of Cathedral City died July 19, 2001, at home. He was born Aug 8, 1930 in Honey Grove, Texas to Jack Rufus and Eva Dell Johnson Clark. He married Norma G. Fields on Nov. 12, 1955, in Palos Verdes. He was Vice president and General Manager with Vel's Parnelli Jones Ford in Torrance CA, and a salesman with Crystal Chrysler in Cathedral City for a combined total of 27 yers. He belonged to Calvary Chapel in Cathedral City, serving as its chaplain, and was a 32nd degree Mason as well as a Shriner. He is survived by his wife, Norma of Cathedral City; two daughters, Cathy Stecher of Dolores Colo., and Gaylynn Page of Thousand Palms; his son, Gary of Redondo Beach; three sisters, Jenevia Lowrey of Lancaster, Patricia Meyer of Corona and Brenda Pike of Long Beach; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Candice Lynn Holquist, in 1986 and a brother, Donald Clark in 1998. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Chapel in Cathedral City. Arrangements are under the direction of Palm Springs Mortuary of Cathedral City. The family suggests donations to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
