Mrs. Luella Ranger, widow of John J. Ranger, died Wednesday morning at her home, 200 Webster Avenue, after a three months' illness. Born in Cicero, Mrs. Ranger had lived in Syracuse 40 years and was a member of Furman Street Methodist Church. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Vollmer and Mrs. Alice Schontz of Syracuse and Mrs. James Shepard of Cicero and a brother, Elmer Merriam of Mattydale. The body will be at the Sears funeral home, North Syracuse, until 1 P.M. Friday when it will be taken to Furman Street Methodist Church. It will be in the church until 2:30 P.M. at which time services will be conducted by the Rev. Herman H. Downey. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
