Survived by daughter, Kathleen Marie (Martin) Hertzog of Waverly; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, many nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Keith Karau; son, Keith Michael Karau; parents, Charles & Sophie Brabec and brothers, Harold & Charles "Bud'' Brabec Jr.

Funeral service 1 PM Friday at the funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 4-8 PM, and also one hour prior to service on Friday. Chilson Funeral Home Winsted
