A funeral for William Randle Baker, 65, of Hobbs Island, who died Monday at the Huntsville Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Laughlin-Service Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dale Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery in Marshall County.
Mr. Baker was a native of Madison County and the owner of Baker Sand and Gravel Co.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sue Baker; one daughter, Mrs. Joe Holbrook of Lexington, Ky.; four sons, James H. Baker, Robert E. Baker, William A. Baker and Carl H. Baker, all of Hobbs Island; two sisters, Mrs. James Milam of Meridianville and Mrs. Connie McDonald of Birmingham; four brothers, Eugene Baker, Thurmond Baker, both of Hobbs Island, Lester Baker of Huntsville and Charlie Baker of Gadsden; two half-brothers, Harry Baker of Guntersville and Bert Baker of Huntsville and three step-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Nalls, Vernon Parsons, James P. Aday, Floyd Luttrell, George Hyatt and James Bell.
