Rock Musician. A guitarist, he was a founding member of the 1970s Canadian rock ensemble Bachman-Turner Overdrive. He followed his older brother Randy Bachman (founding member of The Guess Who) into the music industry and acquired performance as a member of the group "Brave Belt." The band evolved into Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and while a member, Tim contributed to their first two studio albums, "Bachman-Turner Overdrive" (1973) and "Bachman-Turner Overdrive II" (1973). The latter contained the Top 30 hit singles, "Let It Ride" (1974) and "Taking Care Of Business" (1974). Tim departed in 1975 and rejoined the group (now called B.T.O.) during the 1980s.
