Russell E. Sinclair, 87, of Christiana R2, died Monday morning at his home after a prolonged illness. He was employed by Pure Oil Co. and Southern Pipe Line as a telegrapher and engineer for 49 years prior to his retirement in 1959. Born in McCalls Ferry, he was a son of the late Elmer and Henrietta Brubaker Sinclair. Besides his wife, Nellie Havner Sinclair, he is survived by three children: Vincent R., Allentown; Ann, wife of John McNamara, Rockport, Mass.; and E. Patricia, wife of John Woerth, Christiana R2; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one sister, Anna Sinclair, Columbia. [Unknown Source]
