Delano Webb

Delano Webb, 73, of Bent Branch Road, Meta, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at his home.

He was born in Pike County, a son of the late Landon Webb and Goldie Webb.

He was preceded in death by two sons, James Robert Webb and Donald Craig Webb; one brother, Arley Webb; and one sister, Okie Ward.

He was retired from Webco Conveyor Manufacture and was in the Masonic Order.

He is survived by his wife of five years, Saundra Webb; three daughters, Pam (Steve) Gabbard and Jeana Webb, both of Panama City, Fla., Delana Gayle Webb of Lexington; one sister, Doris Thacker of Hurricane; two step daughters, Jena Rayna Suits and Lenor Hall; three grandchildren, Ashley Miller and Waylon Webb of Ohio, and Tyler Webb of Tennessee; four step grandchildren, Charles Douglas Suits II, Gabrilla Veloria Green Suits and Connor Mason Hill and Amery Elise Hill; and one great-grandchild, Ava Miller of Ohio.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, in the Thacker Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements were under direction of Thacker Funeral Home of Pikeville.

Delano was born in Pike County Ky to the late Landon Webb and the late Goldie Webb besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons James Robert Webb who passed this life August 2, 2003 and Donald Craig Webb who passed this life November 11, 2006, Delano was also preceded in death by one brother Arley Webb and one sister Okie Ward.
