Plainview Area History Center - Plainview News obituary : Infant's Sudden Death at Home of Grandmother of Pneumonia -- Death occurred very suddenly last Saturday to Robert, the three-months' old son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Brehmer of Elba. They had been visiting at the home of Mr. Brehmer's mother Mrs. Bertha Hostettler when the death occurred. Death was due to bronchial pneumonia.
Robert was born at Elba on November 11, 1938. He is survived by his parents and a brother, Roger.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, Feb. 7 at 2 p.m. in the Foley and Lindsey funeral chapel and interment was made in the Elba cemetery. Rev. Theo. Schoewe officiated at the service.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Ellery and Mr. and Mrs. Estell Ellery of Charles City, Iowa, Miss Violet Ellery and Mrs. Dorothy O'Toole of St. Paul, Mrs. Leona Ellery of Rochester and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Loppnow and family from Minnieska.
