She is survived by five sons, W. Larry Byrd, his wife, Linda, Ronald M. Byrd, and his wife, Barbara, Maxwell P. Byrd, and his wife, Brenda, Thomas M. Byrd, and his wife, Karen and Kenneth M. Byrd, and his wife, Susan; 13 grandchildren, Patricia, Cheryl, Janet, Jeff, Christy, Sandy, Michelle, Brian, Stacey, Adam, Skyler, David and Joshua; 21 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Hays and Eunice Towles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her remains rest at Bliley's-Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends, 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Monday at St. David's Episcopal Church, 1801 Camborne Rd., Richmond, Va. Interment will be held at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
