Mary Erickson Carroll Carpenter "GREAT" 1920 ~ 2007 Anna Mary Erickson Carroll Carpenter, age 87, passed away on August 16, 2007. Mary was born January 28, 1920 in Ogden, Utah to Edgar W. and Mabel Larsen Erickson. Married Kline B. Carroll, September 8, 1937 in Salt Lake Temple, he preceded her in death. Married Willis E. (Bill) Carpenter, Jan. 20, 1951, he preceded her in death. Mary loved her daily crossword puzzle, camping, fishing, rock hunting, crocheting for family members and big family dinners. Survived by son, James Phillip (Sharon) Carroll, daughter-in-law, Annette S. Carroll, daughter, Sandra (Lynn) Webb; sister, Dorothy Archibald; one nephew; nine grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents; son, William Kline Carroll; granddaughter, Michelle Carroll Talbot and great grandson, Ronnie Lynn Thompson. Graveside services for Mary will be held Monday, August 20, 2007, 12 noon, at Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to graveside service.
