Pleasant, having lived there the greater part of her life, moving to Johntown five years ago with her son. She was married to John G. Mayfield in 1883, who preceded her in death. To this union six children were born, four of whom survive: H. D. Mayfield, Mt. Pleasant, C. M. Mayfield, Vandervort, Ark.; Mrs. Myrtle Cabell, Mt. Pleasant, Hughes Mayfield, Johntown; 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral was held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Baptist church, conducted by A. I. Bond. Deceased was a member of the Methodist church. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Loyd, Charles, H. D. and Jimmy Mayfield, Johnnie and Willie Cabell. Burial was made at Bridges Chapel, near Mt.
