Mary Elaine Steinkamp of Lee's Summit loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away on April 24, 2023.

Mary was born in Mason City, Iowa on August 9, 1950, to Emery and Eleanor Van Every. Mary married Everett "Dean" Steinkamp in Manson, Iowa. She received her associate degree in nursing in 1985. Throughout her nursing career Mary thrived as a hospice nurse assisting countless families.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Emery and Eleanor Van Every and her brothers David and Thomas Van Every. She is survived by her husband Everett "Dean" Steinkamp; children Joy (Patrick) Cuezze, Kelli (Jeremy) Greene, and Nicole (Christopher) Vela, grandchildren Necole Greene, Erika Greene, Thomas "Tommy" Cuezze , John "Jack" Cuezze, Brandon Vela, Noah Greene, and Dahlia Vela; great grandchildren Maliyah Webb and Princeton Greene; and brothers Kevin and Randy Van Every.

Visitation will be at 3 pm, followed by services at 4 pm on Saturday April 29th at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd Street, Lees Summit, MO.
