FREEMAN, ODIS - age 84, of Tellico Plains, Tenn., passed away Friday, July 11, 1997. He was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Linda Miller and granddaughter, Tammy Freeman. He was a member of Rural Vale Baptist Church. He was retired from Aluminum Company of America, where he was a member of the 25 Year Club. Survivors: wife, Estia Jane Freeman, Tellico Plains; daughters, Norma Joyce Cockcrost, Kennesaw, Ga., Sylvia Glover, Tellico Plains; son, Clifford Freeman, Tellico Plains, stepdaughters, Mary Everhart, Maryville, Faye Harmon, Maryville, Mickie Sochko, Coral Springs, Fla.; stepson, Lloyd Chastain, Maryville; brothers, Henry Freeman, Akron, Ohio, Sylvester Freeman, Englewood; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The body is at Myers Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services at 8:30 Sunday in Myers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James "Dink" Harris and Rev. James Atkins officiating. Interment Monday 10 a.m. at New Providence Cemetery. Family and friands will meet at the cemetery Monday morning for the interment service.
